Wraparound Care

About the wraparound club

The club runs every day straight from the end of the school day until 4:30 pm. It's a child-led club: each night, children can choose to take part in the adult-led activity, or choose freely from a range of other activities instead – Lego, arts and crafts, outside play, board games, and a quiet reading area for anyone who wants some downtime. The children have the freedom to explore and choose their own activities every session.

Children receive a snack at 3:30 pm, and if they're still with us at 5 pm, they'll get a second snack.

Our main activities each week:

Monday – Multi-sports, with a different sport each week (netball, basketball, athletics, tennis, tag rugby, football)

Tuesday – Football club

Wednesday – Paper plate craft night, with a new theme each week

Thursday – Playground games night, playing the classics: Stuck in the Mud, What's the Time Mr Wolf, British, Grandmother's Footsteps, Duck Duck Goose, Simon Says, Musical Statues, and Sleeping Lions

Friday – Just Dance night, dancing along to favourite songs on the Just Dance video game
