Friends of St Bert's (PTA)
Welcome to Friends of St Bert’s.
‘Friends of St Bert’s’ would like to take this opportunity to introduce themselves to you.
‘Friends’ consists of a group of volunteers from both the staff and the parents and our aim is to support the school both through fundraising and by providing practical help.
Fundraising has been achieved through raffles, discos, cakes sales and many other events.
As a result of this fundraising, ‘Friends’ has funded many activities including visiting artists and theatre companies which the children enjoy immensely.
Obviously, at the end of each year we lose some members as their child leaves and goes to high school, so we are making a plea for new parents to help.
Meetings are usually held once every term and are informal, as well as opportunities to help and support your child in school. It is a great way to meet other parents and staff in an informal setting.
If you feel that you would like to get involved or support ‘Friends’ in some way, please contact the school office and ‘Friends’ will contact you.
